Formed nearly 25 years ago the club has grown from small beginnings to a vibrant thriving club of 70+ members.  We meet every Wednesday night at 8pm from September through to May.  Over the years the venue has changed and our current venue of Hayfield Conservative Club is probably the best.  Additional specialised training sessions are available on other evenings and on some Sundays to help members acquire Photoshop skills and to encourage them to look further ahead towards exhibitions and awards.  The lecture programme includes opportunities for members to produce slide shows and AV’s to show other members what areas of photography or travel has interested them.  The club also arranges short photographic expeditions to suitable localities around Britain and on the western side of Europe.
