2017 End of Season Awards Evening

May 3rd 2017  saw the annual Awards Presentation and the Dennis Milner Members' Award Competition - Congratulations to all those who went home with the trophies and certificates.

End of Season Awards

The Astra-Chem Award to Caroline Holt  - An award to one of our newer members who showed enthusiasm and commitment to their photography and to the club -.

Howard Carter Memorial Trophy to Rosy Bateman - Most Improved Intermediate Worker .

Our Best of Season winners were judged on 19th April by Graham Curry who, with the help of the members present on the night, chose the overall Best Image of the Year.
Best Image of the Year - Charlotte Nuttall with her image 'Not So Grand Piano'.
Best Colour Print of the Year - Charlotte Nuttall- Not so Grand piano
Best Mono Print of the Year - Keith Gordon - The Bridge Cafe, Birkenhead
Best DPI of the Year - Rosy Bateman - Work Before Work 

The following Awards are based on members' work throughout the competitions, each of these photographers won trophies

There are two competitions that are outside the Best of Season Competition but that are no less important competitions in the life of the club: the Natural History Competition and the Panel Competition. Neither competition have trophies awarded.
